New Girls Basketball Sport Director!
Thomas "TC" Caviness Joins the Maryland District AAU Team!
We are pleased to welcome Thomas "TC" Caviness, to our Maryland District AAU family!
Caviness, the Founder of the Maryland Hoopmasters, had a vision in 2001 to bring AAU National Travel Baseketball to Carroll County MD. Under his leadership, over 185 players have moved on to play college basketball, from Jr/Community College to Division 1 Basketball. Hundreds more have moved beyond basketball to College, enlisted in our Armed Forces or joined the workforce and became active contributors in our society.
"We're very excited to have someone with Coach Caviness' vision, experience and enthusiasm take on a key leadershhip position within our organization," says MD AAU Governor Ben DuBose. "TC's drive, skills and tenacity will, without a doubt, elevate the Maryland AAU Girls Basketball Program - both on the National and International stage!"
Caviness' responsibilities for the Girls Basketball program are effective immediately.
