RUDY GAY: Still Making Moves!

"Big Truck" Brings It All Home

RUDY "BIG TRUCK" GAY, a 17-season NBA standout, retired in 2024. Drafted in the 8th round by the Houston Rockets in 2006, the 6’8” small/power forward played for the Memphis Grizzlies, Toronto Raptors, Sacramento Kings, and San Antonio Spurs before playing his last stint with the Utah Jazz. He is a FIBA World Cup Champion and winner of the NBA Cares Community Assist Award for outstanding efforts in the community and for his philanthropic and charitable work. After retirement, he returned to Baltimore where he grew up and where he played local AAU basketball for legendary Cecil Kirk Coach Anthony Lewis and where he graduated from Archbishop Spalding High school before attending the University of Connecticut.
